Profiles
Photos in your Studio account are processed by specific parameters you provide in profiles. A profile represents a group of settings which when applied to a photo can cause cropping, color adjustment, and retouching.
When first setting up a Studio account, a default profile will be generated for your consumption. You will likely want to customize this profile and create a set of new profiles as well before you start processing photos.
Create a Profile
To create a profile:
- Click Profiles in the menu bar
- Click Create Profile
On the profile form, enter in a meaningful name (e.g. "Crop Profile Tight") that you will easily remember the use of. If you want, and we heavily suggest you do, give a short description of the profile and what it does (does it crop photos, what sort of color adjustments does it do, what type of retouching does it apply) so that you can simply read the description instead of looking through the parameters later to remind yourself of what the profile does.
Cropping
If you would like your new profile to apply cropping to photos, fill out the "Cropping" field set inside the profile form.
Editing a Profile
To edit a profile:
- Click Profiles in the menu bar
- Click the profile you wish to edit
- Click Edit
Deleting a Profile
To delete a profile:
- Click Profiles in the menu bar
- Click the profile you wish to edit
- Click Delete
There is no going back from this operation. Make sure you are deleting the correct profile.
Removing a profile will cause any job which had the profile assigned to no longer have any profile assigned. If you wish to re-process one of these jobs, you must assign it a new profile.
